The next step was the Hernando Memorial Cemetery where many members of the Banks, Tait and other related families are buried. Many of these graves go back to the 1800s.

Our final stop was the Desoto County Museum, where George Ready is one of the leaders in preserving local history, for a business meeting, tour of the museum and a Mississippi barbecue lunch. After returning to the motel, we said our goodbyes and headed home.

Special thanks to George Banks Ready for all his work to make this reunion a great success.
